Programmes and Services
Our eldercare centre is open for seniors to drop in and we provide active ageing and befriending programmes, and care support such as information and referral services. Through our community screening, we will be able to identify health issues and refer them to other services for further support. To encourage seniors to lead a healthy lifestyle, we hold a variety of programmes such as Zumba classes, health talks, cooking demonstrations, or board game events. The centre is also equipped with a gym and entertainment facilities for seniors to watch TV programmes, sing Karaoke or play video games.
To support elders who are living with dementia, we provide dementia day programmes and intervention so that they can live in the community for as long as possible. We encourage them to participate in activities that slow down the deterioration process and help them to normalise living from the impact of dementia.
In addition, we have the Alert Alarm System to assist elders living within the centre’s vicinity. This system when activated, allows us to respond to incidents in the quickest time possible.
