Volunteers, Our Partners in Caring

At The Salvation Army, volunteers play an active role in caring and enriching the lives of the children, youths, elderly and families we serve. You can support an existing programme, or initiate a project to bless our beneficiaries!

Make A Difference!

The following is a list of general volunteering opportunities at The Salvation Army:
 

Share-a-skill

 

Organise a workshop or class to impart skills, i.e. sports, music, handicraft, cooking to our beneficiaries.

 

Contribute-a-talent

 

Bless our beneficiaries with your talents, e.g. hairdressing, providing career advice or basic health screening.

 

Youth Mentoring

 

Conduct training and activities for youth, typically once a month over a 1-year commitment period.

 

Academic Mentoring

 

Coach children and youth in their schoolwork, typically once a week over a 3-6 months commitment period.

 

Day-out

 

Organise outings or learning journeys for our beneficiaries.

 

Entertainment & Befriending

 

Bring cheer to our beneficiaries by performing or organising celebrations for them.

 

'EMPOWER' Sessions

Events Support

 

Provide event management, logistics or photography support.

 

Fundraising & Collection Drives
